Kim Adams Biography

Kim Adams is a native Oregonian whose oil paintings are inspired by the beauty of her state. A graduate of the University of Oregon, she comes late to full-time painting after raising a family and attending nursing school in Eugene. She has taken drawing and painting classes at the University over the last few years and especially credits UO Professor Laura Vandenburgh for her development as an artist. Although primarily interested in abstract land and seascapes, she often delves into the totally abstract. She says, "When I paint, I feel like I am truly home."
